Lori Daelick has served as the Principal of École Connaught Community School a dual-track PreK-8 school for the last two years. She has been a School Principal for 6 years and spent her teaching career as a passionate middle-years educator. The year prior to coming to Connaught, Lori took a year off work to pursue a variety of Leadership courses in education and business. She completed courses such as Mindfulness in Leadership at Harvard Graduate School, Advanced Leadership and Facilitation at 21st Century Leadership and Women in Leadership. Lori refers to this year as a defining moment in her work today. Her motto – “Excellence comes when everyone is inspired to lead!”

French Culture Goes Beyond the Language

I still remember the phone call just two years ago, “Lori Daelick, we would like you to be the principal of École Connaught Community School.” My quick retort, “Interesting, but you know I don’t speak French, right?” ended in a supportive conversation leading me to believe that I was going to École Connaught for a reason.
